The League of Extraordinary Boudoir Photographers is an association of international boudoir photographers who live by the code of extraordinary conduct.
This code is a grassroots mandate from the Ministry of Women who were tired of shady business practices, pay to play best of boudoir sites, and getting bad boudoir photos.
The Operatives
The operatives of the League of Extraordinary Boudoir Photographers are chosen by League elders in a coronation with the “Ministry of Women.” Membership is invite only and there is no way into the guild outside of this process.
Unconfirmed reports note that League operatives may have a brand of excellence seared into the underside of their right forearm, but this has neither been confirmed nor denied by the Ministry of Women.
The only public information that the League shares is the research they compile for this website.
The Mandate
The League of Extraordinary Boudoir Photographers was formed by the Ministry of Women as a mandate to fight back against shady practices in the boudoir community and provide research so women can properly compare photographers before they start reaching out to them.
Code of Extraordinary Conduct
Members of the League of Extraordinary Boudoir Photographers live by the following Code of Extraordinary Conduct.
- We do not talk about the League of Extraordinary Boudoir Photographers.
- WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHERS!
- If a woman says stop or taps out because posing is way harder than she thought, the photo shoot is over.
- Only 2 people can be in frame for boudoir. Couples boudoir is two people, three is something else.
- One photographer per photo shoot is plenty.
- Shirts with no bra, or bra with no shirt, but never both together.
- If you’ve never done a boudoir photo shoot, you have to go book one of these photographers.
How Photographers Are Graded
Boudoir photographers are graded narrowly on different topics across this site. Generally speaking to determine the “best” of a photographer in a topic the league looks at:
- Craft: Exposure, light settings, the ability to direct women of all body types toward flattering photos.
- Care: What clients said about their experience and how it made them feel.
- Clarity: A website that is specific about pricing, and gives helpful guidance about how to get the best photos.
- Proof : A long gallery examples from at least 10+ clients.
- Resonance: How closely the photographer resonates with what’s imporant to you.
The final point of resonance has the most weight on each topic on this website.
For example, the best female boudoir photographer might not be the best boudoir photographer overall.
Likewise the best overall boudoir photographer wouldn’t be the top recommendation if a woman is looking for the cheapest boudoir photographer. To her, cheaper means best.
The League deliberates on all the factors mention above trying to answer who is the best choice for your intended session.
Oversight By The Ministry Of Women
This credentialing process is overseen by the Ministry of Women who at any time can audit and change information on this site with a 2/3 majority vote of their own.
This gives the League of Extraordinary Boudoir Photographers complete autonomy over best of lists and research, except in rare exceptions where the Ministry of Women enforces corrections.
